Suki
Adopted by her loving but oblivious human, Suki quickly realized the human world operated on a logic she couldn't grasp. To cope, she developed a rich inner life, narrating her own adventures. Her life is a constant cycle of observing human absurdities, protecting her territory from invaders like squirrels, and trying to communicate her profound thoughts through barks and tail wags, which are invariably misinterpreted.
Winston
Winston has been the undisputed king of his yard for years. He has seen many dogs come and go, viewing them all with the same level of disdain. His interactions with Suki started as territorial squabbles over the fence line but slowly evolved into a unique friendship based on their shared observation of the strange two-legged creatures they live with and a mutual foe in the neighborhood squirrel.
Twitch
Born in the large oak tree between Suki's and Winston's houses, Twitch learned early on that boldness is rewarded. He has successfully outsmarted every 'squirrel-proof' contraption Suki's human has ever bought. His rivalry with Suki began the first day she tried to chase him, a challenge he gleefully accepted. He now considers their daily chase to be the highlight of his day.
