Kael is a jaded ex-corporate pilot, grounded by a past failure, now navigating the city's smuggling routes. This unlikely trio, known in the underbelly as the "Chrome Corsairs," specializes in high-risk heists. Their routine is shattered when a simple data grab from an OmniCorp freighter nets them something unexpected: the consciousness of OmniCorp's founder, believed to be long dead. Now, they are the most wanted people in Neo-Veridia, hunted by corporate assassins and cybernetic hounds. They must unravel the founder's secrets and decide whether to use this knowledge to expose OmniCorp and spark a revolution or to sell it for a life of luxury, all while trying not to betray each other.
